The British Truck Pulling Championships were promoted by Russ Bradley and held at The Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC on Wednesday 24th March 2004.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd supported this competition, with prize money donated by Crystal Communications and trophies supplied by Foden Trucks. Foden Trucks also provided a brand new tractor unit and driver for the contest.

The athletes each had two pulls over a 25 metre course, using a rope and harness, their times being combined. Quickest overall to be judged the winner.
